Innsbruck

Erin and I took an impressive train from Venice to Innsbruck through the Brenner Pass, a beautiful valley surrounded by the Italian-Austrian Alps. We were ready to stay somewhere less touristy and more mountainous so it was perfect timing after two weeks. The night we got there was the night of the blood moon, which was amazing in the dark Alpine sky with glittering stars around. The next day we took a cable car up the Nordkette mountain and then took the 2.5 hike down (which was intense!).
We definitely were in our element in Innsbruck.
